In 2024, several high-profile games finally made their PC debuts - among them Lunacid's tribute to FromSoftware's original game design with its gothic world and Lovecraftian story beats; Suikoden 2 being another classic JRPG that hadn't made quite the same cultural splash as others such as Chrono Trigger or Final Fantasy 7.
There were exciting new releases across multiple genres that caught your interest this month, from Sniper Elite 4, an action-adventure title set in Nazi-occupied France; Pizza Tower's physics-based demolition simulator; Disco Elysium which places players both as cop and dumpster diver; to Civilization 5 from Firaxis with its more detailed approach to history and shorter ages - plus many others!

Beginning of 2019 is shaping up to be especially busy due to some major titles being delayed by major publishers. If not for its release date change in March by Assassin's Creed Shadows it would have dominated February, yet remains one of the more anticipated releases ever.
At 2025's major releases are Doom 3, featuring high-fidelity graphics and immersive ray tracing; Bungie's Marathon revival, pitting players against one another as they compete to capture loot while making it out alive; Pearl Abyss Subnautica 2, featuring new story and tools/vehicles to help uncover more of the underwater realm; and Bungie's Marathon Revival -- an extract shooter where players compete to grab loot before leaving alive;
